Friday Trip 088-0082906
A communal agricultural enterprise has been established at the charming “Ban Dong Yen”, where visitors can enjoy a range of activities such as planting organic vegetables, mushrooms and sunflower sprouts, singing while feeding chickens (it apparently makes them happy), preparing earthworm compost and picking up useful knowledge and skills from each other’s expertise. The vegetables collected from the garden will be cooked in the kitchen, transformed into chili paste and served up as part of lunch. After you’re full, it’s time to head out and see how the locals add value to their organic rice production, as well as how they have impressively transformed this ordinary village into a charming learning site.
