Nong San Tourism Community, Sakon Nakhon

0
  • 2 Days 1 Night
  • Maximum : 10 guests
  • Minimum : 4 guests

This agrotourism community is a perfect place for learning about the late King Rama IX’s Sufficiency Economy concept of mixed-agriculture. Here, you can delve into the fascinating local culture, with activities including rice seedling transplanting and making indigo-dyed clothes. Activities like these are a key to understanding the richness of the Isaan culture at this village nestled among Phu Phan mountain range, where simple traditions will help you discover the value of this pure way of life. See the buffaloes in the fields, check out the cotton and admire the indigo trees. Experience the rural life that reflects the identity of Ban Nong San – mountains, fields, forests and indigo.

Highlights
  • Join an indigo-dyeing workshop using indigo pots.
  • Help the locals transplant rice seedlings; harvest and thresh the rice.
