Samut Songkram, a small province not far from Bangkok, has many attractions to offer. One of the most interesting places is Ban Bang Plub Community Learning Center, a small community full of fun activities. Children will love the coconut orchard life where they can have fun with new experiences outside the classroom. One of the highlights of this community is seeing how locals add value to regional products. The activities are fun, promoting practical skills such as fruit picking and harvesting, cooking pomelo-based dishes, making special salted eggs, playing outside in the orchard, learning about coconut processing, and pouring coconut sugar into containers. Kids will also love flying kites, a traditional activity that has today has become quite rare in Thailand.

Take a train from Bangkok and get off at Maeklong station, which takes approximately 3 hours. From the station, it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the community.
