Friday Trip 088-0082906
Experience the fisherman’s way of life here at Thung Wa community in Satun, situated close to the ocean. After you arrive, indulge in some locally-made snacks with the group of friendly housewives; you can also get to see the local processes of fish drying and shrimp paste making, visit the farm to try planting “monkey cups”, try rubber tapping with the local experts, and also head out to sea on a kayak, visiting the incredibly long Stegodon Cave system along the way. Take a cruise on a long-tailed boat to see the beauty of “Dragon’s Spine Beach”, an amazing soft-sand beach popular in Satun that’s surrounded by a number of small islands.
