Afternoon | Hop onboard a tram and learn about the identity of Baan Chiang’s ancient civilization, including rattanwear, indigo mud and green galangal. |
See naturally-dyed hand-woven clothes with unique traditional patterns. Explore an ancient excavation site and “Tai Puan Rub Sadet House”. | |
Enjoy a Baan Chiang prehistoric pottery demonstration. | |

Plane
The flight from Bangkok to Udon Thani Airport takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From the airport, it takes approximately 1 hour to reach the community.
Train
Take a train from Bangkok and get off at Udon Thani station (overnight) approximately 9 hour and 30 minutes.. From the station, it takes approximately 1 hour to reach the community.
