Coffee and woven wool are two of the key heritage products that have been passed down from generation to generation of the S’gaw people, who follow a simple way of life in Ban Huay Hom, one of the villages under the administration of the Mae La Noi Royal Project Development Center where the Sufficiency Economy principles are adapted to generate profit from local OTOP products. The area has been developed into an agrotourism attraction where visitors are able to come to learn about the Huay Hom coffee production process from start to finish, as well as see how sheep are raised and how wool is processed at the only wool production center in Thailand, surrounded by mountains and the fresh air of Northern Thailand.
